Chapter 2: Potential Within A Seed
I am glad that you have chosen to accept the first process of my love and begin the new exciting journey of your life to become who you were always meant to be. I first would like to share with you a story as a parable to help draw a picture and explain where you came from and where and what you are meant to go and be. I want you to understand that this is only a short story or a short movie of a vision to help you see and understand some of the hidden things. It is not to be word for word from the Bible yet it is packed with truths and parallels pictures from the Bible. Please read the Bible itself for more Truth’s written to and for you. The Tree of Life is mentioned in several places in the Scriptures so I would encourage you to do a word search when you get a chance. As far as the Scriptures that came to mind as I got this vision that you may like to compare some of the similarities that are found in Genesis 2 and 3, Ezekiel 47, and Revelations 22.
Now let us begin this vision as if it were a movie. The camera opens up with pictures of history going in reverse at a very fast speed. The pictures pass on the screen very fast all the way back to a very long, long time ago. Back to even before the very first second on the clock started to tick. Back to the very beginning of time itself. Back to the time before time and back before I, God, started the clock of time within the dimension that you know today.
It was then, in the very beginning of time, which I was thinking of you and desiring to design you to be someone and something very special and unique. You see way back then I decided to create a beautiful special garden. This garden was more beautiful than any garden that you have ever seen. It was even more beautiful than any garden that anyone today could even think or imagine. It was perfect in all its ways and was a place filled with the peace and comfort from my presence.
Within this garden I had placed the most beautiful and perfect tree ever created in the middle of this garden. In fact within the make-up of this tree I have placed my own DNA. One could even say it was created in my image and likeness because within it was my own DNA. Within this special tree was the potential of all beauty and even life itself. It is for this reason that it is often referred to as the Tree of Life. This tree was and is really beyond description, it is so special and unique that it has supernatural powers within each cell and atom of it. This tree is so special that it was designed to bear a full abundant crop of fruit each and every month.
As the camera focusing now on the most beautiful unique tree ever created, you can see the fresh fruit and all of the lush green leaves. The color of the fruit and leaves are even different than any other colors you have even seen. The colors are as if they themselves are alive and glowing with life. The lush green leaves are leaves that never wither. In fact the very fruit and leaves themselves were designed to provide all that would be needed for health and life. The fruit was created for food and the leaves for total health and healing. This was and is why I call this tree the Tree of Life.
Now as the camera starts to pull away from focusing directly on the Tree of Life, one can start to see part of the secret of the Tree of Life. That secret is due to the River of Life that flows in the garden and provides Living Water to the roots of the tree. This river flows directly from within my dwelling place in Heaven itself. The flow of this water, with the headwaters coming from Heaven, is as clear as the clearest crystal ever created and purer that the purest gold ever refined even to this day. This headwater is the beginning of a river that I also designed to be the water of life to water the whole garden and bring life to all of my creation within the garden.
This River of Life also flows and feeds the Tree of Life. Within the water was also my DNA and life itself placed. So strong is the potential within the water that anything that ever touched the water became alive, refreshed and restored. The water of life soaks in and around the fertile soil of the garden and bathes the root system of the Tree of Life. The tree roots then take this water of life and transfers it from the roots up through the tree trunk and into each branch. Once in the branches, the life giving sap goes to and supplies the life and healing giving qualities to all the leaves and fruit.
I had very special plans for this Tree of Life. Within the wood of the tree was the potential to create life. Inside of each cell of the wood I designed the ability and potential to grow and reproduce a whole new unique tree from even the smallest cell of the tree. If ever any cell of the tree was separated from the root and trunk system, all that was needed was a touch from the water from the River of Life and new life would spring up within that cell. You see within that Tree of Life are many, many cells. Within each cell is the potential for more and more Trees of Life to fill tens of thousands of gardens throughout the universe. My plans were to take part of the tree and cut and prune it. And as I did that I was to take each branch and root it within my water of life so that one day I would have the most beautiful, fruitful, healthy and everlasting garden full of many, many Trees of Life. This is still my plan and it will become a reality in the fullness of time.
I also foresaw and knew what was about to happen in the garden. I knew that an enemy was coming to deceive, steal, kill and destroy not only the garden and the Tree of Life but all life itself. Because I already knew of the enemy’s plan, I also had the ultimate plan in place to overcome the enemy’s schemes. My plan was and is to recover and restore all that the enemy would attempt to do. Well it happened that the one I had placed in my garden to take care of it, just for a moment, became distracted and took their eyes and focus off of me and started looking away. It was during this time that the enemy came and cut down the Tree of Life at the very top of the root system. The enemy stole the tree, removing it from the garden and my River and the enemy started to cut up and destroy it in any way he could.
Yet even then the enemy did not understand how I had designed each cell of the wood of that tree. He did not realize the unique special design that I had placed within the DNA of each cell of the Tree. In each cell of the tree I have placed the potential of itself duplicating the original Tree of Life one hundred percent. Within each cell was the full potential, as soon as that cell would come in contact and receive the Living Water from my River, to be reborn to new life and grow into another very special Tree of Life.
Since that time until today, the enemy has been hard at work cutting, chopping away, attempting to burn, grind up, twist, and destroy the wood of the tree. The enemy has told the cells of the tree that they were dead, no good, unloved from the Father, discarded and forgotten by their parents, ugly, and a good for nothing, piece of junk. The enemy, from the first day that he stole the tree, has been telling these and many other lies to the parts of the tree. The enemy has done all kinds of evil and filled each cell and parts of the wood from the tree with so many lies that even the parts and cells of the Tree started to also believe these lies as truths. When they looked in the mirror, instead of seeing the very special uniquely designed beautiful wood with the special DNA stored within, they saw the uniqueness as defects. They saw themselves as unwanted, unloved and discarded trash. They even started seeing all the other different pieces of wood cut from the same tree as their enemy and started fighting each other to also destroy each other.
You see, they had bought into the lies told them by the enemy. They now started seeing all the other parts of the tree as they saw themselves and what the enemy had told that they were. But I am here to tell you that this is exactly what has happened to you. You have been attacked and lied to by the enemy. The enemy is doing everything within his power to steal, kill and destroy you and the very potential the Creator has placed in your very DNA. The enemy now knows of the mistake he has made and has a glimpse of the future. He has been told by the Creator Himself that the enemy’s plan as well as the enemy himself will ultimately fail. The enemy knows that when each of those cells and pieces of the wood that he has warped and attempted to divide and destroy finally touches the water, all will be over for him. He now knows and is fearful that when the cells that he had deceived make it to the River of Life that they will be totally restored. He now knows that when the cells start to soak in the Living Water then the DNA within will return to action and start them on the journey of becoming unique, yet very special, Tree of Life themselves. He has seen from the very Words of God that one day there will not be just the one Tree of Life that he attacked but that there will be many Trees of Life. One day all the trees will line up on both sides of the River of Life and all will produce one hundred fold over and over what the Original Tree planted in the garden could have produced with the help of the enemy.
Yes, I said, “the help of the enemy”. For the Creator, in His ultimate wisdom and knowledge knew what the enemy would attempt to do. So the Creator planned to take and use what the enemy would do to steal, kill and destroy for the good in the end.
So as the movie starts to speed back up and go through the years, and even into the future. We can see that as time has passed, the Original Tree of life has also been growing back to its original shape. The enemy could have never killed it because the roots and the DNA of the Tree remained planted in the Living Water. The tree is again large, beautiful and full of the lush green leaves and producing a full crop of fruit each and every month.
And now as in a movie, the camera is focused back on the Tree of life with all of its beauty and life. All eyes are on the Original Tree and all minds are beholding it. We can see just how beautiful it is and how it is perfectly designed to provide all things ever possible and needed for life. This is where the Creator wants our focus to be just as the director of the film and the camera crew wants all viewing to focus on and see. As we all focus on the Tree of Life and are in awe at its beauty, the camera start to move outwards. It is at this time the reason is revealed to us as to why our focus changes. The camera pulls away and we now start to get a wider picture of the garden now. As the picture widens, all can see the River of Life flowing from the awesome Throne of God Himself and all along the River are now millions of millions of unique and very special Trees of Life. All of them full of the lush green leaves and fruit very much like the Original Tree in the middle of the garden. They are like the original because it is the same DNA and same Living Water within each.
The camera continues to pan the garden and now forests of these very special trees are seen. Each unique tree has a name on it. Names from every nation, race, tribe and language are on the trees. And just now it appears. You see it now. There is your name. There you are. The camera is now focused on you and Your Tree. And now all can see the true beauty that the Creator has always seen in you. Now you can see who you were created to be. Now you can see what the enemy had tried his best to steal, kill, and destroy you with his schemes and lies, God has taken all that to transform you in to the image of the Original Tree. God has taken you as you were and made the knots, twisted up wood and limbs and even the scars in the bark and made them beautiful. It was His life flowing in and through you that made you able to reach the full potential which he had placed deep within your DNA in the first place.
It is now that you too can finally see the true beauty of yourself which has been and forever will be the love and beauty that God has always seen in you. Who and what you truly are, is now brought to life so that all can see and stand in awe of your true beauty. And instead of seeing “The End” roll up on the screen we see that this is just the beginning for you and your life. For you see for all that are In Him, their life will never ever end.
So is this just a story made up or is it really something much, much more that God wants you to perhaps see for the very first time? See, your Heavenly Father really loves you. You are very special to Him and He has big and wonderful plans for your life. As you continue to read each chapter, I pray that the Holy Spirit will take these words and water them with His Living Water so that His Anointing will totally saturate you beyond measure. As He does this, I pray, that you will truly see the truth of who you really are and may He guide and direct you to reach your full potential In Him.
VERSES FROM THE BIBLE TO PONDER:
(Revelation 22:1-5, NIV) “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.”
(Ezekiel 47: 1-12, NIV) “The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross. He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?”
Then he led me back to the bank of the river. When I arrived there, I saw a great number of trees on each side of the river. He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live. Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds—like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”
As you continue to read this book, I am planting seeds within your heart. As you receive these seeds it is important that you get, not only a picture of, but also an understanding of the potential that I have placed within you. It is similar to the potential I have placed within each seed.
Within each seed is such great potential far above and beyond what anyone could ever really imagine or think about in the natural. Just for a moment I want you to think about some of the many types of seeds. Let us first look at the seed of an oak tree. Let us take a little acorn and examine the potential within it. Anyone that lives in areas where mighty oaks grow has most likely seen the seeds or acorns they produce. Yet, have you really sat back and thought about the potential I have placed within each acorn? Just in case you have not, follow me as I talk a little with you about it.
Let us go and sit under the mighty oak tree and talk for a bit. It can be very peaceful sitting here together. Feel the coolness of the shade the oak provides. Feel the nice gentle breeze going by and don’t you hear the wind rustling the leaves above. Yes, look up there and what do you see. Over there, see that squirrel on that branch. Guess what he is doing? He has an acorn. Look he just dropped it and it has landed at our feet. Go ahead, pick it up. There, you have it in your hand. But what exactly do you have in your hand? Is it just a small acorn or do you have much, much more? Do you see the potential of that little seed? Within that little acorn I have placed great and mighty potential. If I were to take that seed and surround it with the right conditions the potential becomes unlimited.
Here, let me try to explain it better to you. Within your hands is the potential of a forest of mighty oaks as well as the potential to feed thousands of my created animals like the squirrel that dropped that acorn. Within your hands is also food for many others like the deer, chipmunks or others of my precious creatures. That one acorn can provide a little snack for the squirrel and complete one purpose. And that in itself is a good purpose because it then provides energy that will help the squirrel to grow and reproduce the potential that I have also placed in it. Or that same squirrel could take the acorn, as they often do, and bury it for later and forget where they put it. In that way even the squirrels help me plant millions of seeds each year. I tell you the truth, unless an acorn falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
That is a key you might want to remember to help explain many truths to the potential which I have placed within life. Within each seed, when it is surrounded within my perfect conditions to promote growth, springs forth the full potential to provide a forest with billions of trees that also have the same potential within them. You may be asking what makes the difference.
Well, let us talk further about it. See if I take that one mature acorn seed and if I plant it in good fertile soil or in the case above allow a squirrel to assist me. And then I provide just the right climate and if I provide the right amount of rain and sunshine on it, it will start to be transformed. It will start to grow from within because of the way that I have designed it. Before long there will be a little green sprout and a green leaf will appear from beneath the earth. In fact, if you look about twenty feet to your right, you can see a small oak over there that I planted last year and that is now growing into the tree I desire it to become.
Well, as the time goes by, and as all the right conditions continue that little oak over there can also grow up be just as big, strong and mighty as this one we are sitting under. Then that new tree can also produce thousands of other acorns which in turn can produce thousands of trees that will also produce millions of trees, etc. Both conditions have to take place. The seed has to fall to the ground and appear to become dead and be buried under the soil. Then the soil has to be just right along with the right amount of rain as well many other conditions. When all of these conditions line up as I provide them, then that one seed will produce many seeds. And within each of those many seeds are the potential to do the same. With this right type of climate the whole landscape or region can be changed.
Now I know some that are reading this may not live in an area where there are many trees much less oak trees. Yet the same might be said of a kernel of wheat or a kernel of corn. See within all seeds I have placed the potential to reproduce many new plants that will produce many new seeds that could provide enough food to feed all my creations with ease.
Farmers know and understand how to tap into much of this potential each year as they labor to plant seeds with a mindset to produce a harvest. They do not plant one seed to get one seed back. They are sowing to reap a more than enough harvest to feed not only their own family but many more. These same farmers also know that they can only do so much to help the harvest to take place. They ultimately depend on me supplying the water and sunlight as well as the right climate so that the seed that they planted can reach its full potential.
Every good gardener or horticultural specialist will work to prepare the soil and attempt to even change the environment with greenhouses and irrigation systems to provide the needed water. They will also provide heat and or artificial light sources to help enhance what might rather be a harsh and unfruitful environment for the seed. By changing the climate, they will allow the seed as well as the crops to flourish. But even within these specially created, climate controlled environments they still ultimately depend on what I have supplied in order for the best outcome. With a heat wave or a cold snap there may be a loss of power and the seeds and plants could perish. If the pumps no longer are able to pump water to the plants, soon the plants will dry up and die.
What could have produced miles and miles of healthy fields of wheat or of corn that could feed billions of people can dry up and die. They can also become destroyed by, let us say, someone that carelessly or purposely tosses downs a match and starts a fire. If the ground is dry and the winds are just right, that match could quickly become a wild fire that destroys the whole crop and harvest.
This potential of the seed can be seen over and over within not only within the seed of a plant, but also within the multitude of the different creatures of my creation. But where I want to focus is that I have also created within you the same type of potential power but even to a much greater degree. You, my child, are a unique special creation far above all others of my creation. I designed you to be very special. Let me try to explain this to you. You are a multilevel complex creation. In the natural you have within you seed and potential to reproduce and have children of your own. In the natural you are also made of different nutrients and minerals. In just plain simple language, I formed you from the dirt of the earth. If your body was to die it would break down, over time, and return to become part of the earth again. That is the natural part of you which is very much like all the other living creatures I have made.
Yet, as I said before, I made you special and unique. When I created you I made you as a multi complex creature. You are not just natural. You are also supernatural. I decided to make you, my child, in my own image. See after I formed you in the natural you were still without life. Then I breathed within you the breath of life and you became a living being. Yes, if you searched deep enough within the supernatural make up of yourself; you will find the image of God because I have placed my image within you. You are designed and created in my image. I am a Spirit Being and so are you. Even if your physical body dies and returns to the earth, your Spirit is designed to live forever. I have placed my DNA within you.
Now this term DNA has come up again so I want you to understand more of what DNA is without getting so deep in the biological scientific mumbo-jumbo that many cannot understand with the natural eye. So let me just tell it like Webster’s New Dictionary defines it. DNA is “the molecular basis of heredity and are localized especially in cell nuclei’”. Or to simplify it even more, it is the part that is placed in each cell that allows each cell as well as all created life to reproduce itself and pass on to it’s off spring to do the same. In short, this DNA is the potential that I, God, placed within the very center of each of your cells. That DNA was placed within all mankind and is passed down for all generations. This DNA comes from my own being and likeness or image. This DNA, given the right circumstances, will allow you to be transformed more into my image and likeness.
Yes, within each of you, I have placed and planted the potential for you to become more and more like me. For many the potential remains dormant. For others, it even dies without ever producing that which is possible. In the natural, you are made of dirt. You must receive the breath of life, from my Spirit, in order to release this life and full potential l that I have placed in you. You may ask yourself, how can this be? Remember my precious child; with me all things are possible.
Now this does not stop here. It does go much deeper. Remember you are both made in the natural as well as in the spiritual. The dirt of the earth can come in many forms. We know that the soil can be fertile or unfertile. The soil can be stony and hard without many life giving minerals or it can be soft and pliable, rich, and fertile. We also know that even poor soil can become changed when the right gardener is allowed to come and do whatever is needed to be done to prepare it to become fertile.
The soil must surrender so that the gardener is allowed to break up those hard areas and crush or remove the rocks as needed. The soil must allow the gardener to take out the weeds that may have been planted within the soil to steal its nutrients so that the good seeds will not have all that is needed. In other areas there may even be chemicals and poisons that have been spilled onto the soil. This poisoning could have been by accident or on purpose. With the ground loaded with poisons the seeds can be killed, weaken, or the DNA can be harmed so that the seed will not or cannot reproduce healthy offspring. So the areas, that have the poisons, need to have a total, thorough cleaning and purging. After the purging the gardener can then add all the good needed ingredients, over time, to make the soil rich and productive once again. But a good gardener with the right knowledge and material can bring about that change. Any soil can be made fertile and rich, in the fullness of time, being totally surrendered to the gardeners will. So also, within you, I have placed a multitude of potential. When you yield to me and allow my Holy Spirit to have total control, you can also be transformed. No matter of your past or what someone has poured into you to steal, kill and destroy you and your potential, it all can all be changed for good. Both the natural as well as the spiritual can be changed. Both, however, need a supernatural touch from my anointing. Both require a yielding of your will and control to allow my will and control over your life. When you yield to me you can become set free to become fertile soil. Then deep within our spirit, you can again become alive with my Spirit living in you. As this happens you can receive everything that I have for you.
This will take place in the fullness of time. You will see, feel and know that it is I, God, working in and through you and as you realize the doors from Heaven are open. All of this, in the right combination, just like the seeds of the field, will help you to reach your full potential in my anointing.
So is this just a story made up while we sat under the oak tree or is it really something much, more? Take another hard and long look at the seed in your hands. Do you now see the great potential within the seed? In this case, the outcome is in your hands and what you choose to do with it. You can destroy the acorn and let all the potential to die in it. Or you can see to it that it is planted in the right environment and climate so that it will grow and mature in order to reach its full potential.
As you look again at the acorn in your hand I want you to realize that you also have a choice as to whose hands you will place your life potential into from this day forward. You can place yourself into the hands of your loving Heavenly Father. You are very special to Him and He has big and wonderful plans for your life desiring you to truly reach your full potential in Him. Or you can choose to turn away from your Creator and Heavenly Father and place your life into the hands of the enemy that is there to deceive, steal, kill and destroy you and all the potential that God has placed in you. The choice is yours.
As you continue to read each chapter, I pray that you will daily decide to yield to and place your life into the hands of God. As you surrender to God, may the Holy Spirit take these words and water them with Living Water so that His Anointing will totally saturate you beyond measure and change the soil as well as the climate you are in. As He does this, I pray, that you will truly see the truth of who you really are and may He guide and direct you to reach your full potential In Him.
VERSES FROM THE BIBLE TO PONDER:
(Matthew 13:1-23, NIV) “That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”
The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it. “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
(John 12:24, NIV) “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”
(Matthew 19:26, NIV) “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
